FEATURED MARKETING PROJECTS

Atwood Richards – Global communications strategy, trade [show/hide]
This multilateral trade and barter company operated 32 international offices and needed a marketing strategy that spanned different regions and marketing mediums, including advertising, collateral materials, public relations, and Internet-based promotion. Key areas of work included market research, communications planning, budgeting, creative development, and overall program management. [more on program strategy]
This comprehensive program included multiple components, from creating a broad-scope corporate collateral package (above) to materials for key international offices (e.g., Atwood Richards France). Several print advertising campaigns were developed for trade publications, starting with the positioning campaign in trade magazines (below). Introducing the Suazion-developed tagline of “Your marketing partner,” the ads targeted manufacturers with excess product inventories, offering them a chance to remarket unsold goods outside of North America. The creative strategy utilized unexpected images and copy — a Mexican woman dolled up in an evening gown with sneakers, an outdated computer stuck in a dairy case of a supermarket, and a Russian man wearing a Western sports suit on a crowded Moscow street.

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) – Dissemination strategy and plan development, non-profit [show/hide]
UNDP Evaluation Office asked Suazion to determine whether its publications were reaching the intended audience — UNDP’s 166 country offices, local governments, members of academia, and other aid agencies. To complete this project, Suazion reached out to the global community by developing a series of online surveys and conducting extensive personal interviews with UN system agencies and other non-profit publishers. The results of this outreach provided the basis for the Suazion-developed strategic communications plan, which outlined and scheduled specific activities to improve UNDP’s market penetration.

Sprint Clear Rewards – Consumer loyalty campaign, telecommunications [show/hide]
Sprint’s goal was to reduce cellular phone deactivation rates in the New York metro area. Suazion developed a promotional campaign that combined direct mail with outdoor advertising, creating a distinct look and feel to appeal to the Big Apple. The direct mail program ran on a four-month staggered schedule, with an extensive “welcome” package followed by a series of postcard reminders. In an unprecedented success, local cellular deactivation rates were reduced by 50%. [more] [hide]

CUSTOMIZED MARKETING SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESSES OF ALL TYPES
|
An experience familiar to many business owners and executives is a marketing company that offers textbook tools and substantiates their validity by incomprehensible statistics from companies with no relevance to yours. Admit it — you have done a direct mail program on the promise of “the market average of a 2% response.” If you weren’t thrilled with the results, get in touch. At Suazion, we won’t try to impress you with industry jargon, take your time in endless “strategy meetings,” or advocate projects you can’t afford. Before proposing a specific marketing strategy or project, we’ll take the time to understand your business, goals, constraints, and target audience. We’ll not only make our own suggestions, but will also listen to yours. Together, we’ll arrive at a marketing approach custom-tailored to appeal to your specific audience, be it a brochure, a public relations program, or an Internet-based advertising campaign. And since we also offer a range of related services, we can help execute the resulting project — creatively, on time and within your budget.
